Chisholm Trail High School opened its doors in August 2012. Under the direction of Mr. Canfield and Mr. Doyle, the Ranger Regiment band (comprised of only Freshmen and Sophomores for the 2012-13 year), rose to the challenge. Ranger Regiment...the beginning of a legacy... 

Since then the Ranger Regiment has a well-established history of accomplishments, including the following:

• 10-time First Division recipient at UIL Region Marching Contest
• 6-time UIL Area Marching Contest Participant (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022)
• 2-time UIL Area Marching Contest Finalist (2015, 2019)
• 2015 Area Champion & UIL State Marching Contest Participant
• Multiple-Time Finalist & Champion in various Invitational Marching Contests
• -time Sweepstakes Award Winner (First Division in Marching, Concert, & Sight-reading)
• Every year that Chisholm Trail High School has been open, we have had at least one TMEA All-State Band member (15 total All-State Band members in 10 years)
